Tools for Writers: Applying principles from the Six Traits curriculum, Julia Pferdehirt teaches students to become better writers. Using costumes, characters, plot lines, and an interactive, collaborative story, Ms. Pferdehirt will help your students ply basic tools of the writing trade like voice, character, point-of-view, and plot.  Grades 4-8

Tools for Storytelling: An interactive, process-based workshop to help students apply storytelling tools to their own storytelling, writing, and story creation. Workshop allows students to use their own writing projects in a storytelling medium. Grades 4-8.

How an Idea Becomes a Book: Where do authors get their ideas? How does an idea become a book?  Grades 4-8

Writers’ Master Class: Small-group, interactive writing class with motivated writers. Uses student work as a basis for mentoring and encouragement. Gr. 4-8, 9-12

Stories Together: An interactive tell-along for your youngest story-lovers. Using children’s classics, your K-2 students will learn and use the components of a good story as they help Julia Pferdehirt tell the wild, wonderful monkey-filled tale Caps for Sale and take audiences in search of hundreds of cats, thousands of cats, millions and billions and trillions of cats,
